WineFest No.15 is less than 2 weeks away…this annual charity event, a benefit for the University Pediatrics Foundation, is being held on May 7 & 8 at The (Milwaukee) Depot in Downtown Minneapolis. For the last 15 years as “A Toast to Children’s Health”, this wine and food extravaganza celebrates all things gourmet, while raising funds to help research and fight childhood diseases. Year after year, the Wine Advisory Committee selects a country or region in which to focus. This year, WineFest No. 15 will celebrate Women in Wine, showcasing legends and leaders in the wine industry, including Karen Culler from Ladera, Margaret Duckhorn from Duckhorn Wine Company, Sarah Gott from Joel Gott Wines, Kate MacMurray from MacMurray Ranch, Betty O’Shaughnessy from O’Shaughnessy Estate Winery, Allison Steltzner from Steltzner Vineyards, and Sandy Walheim from Francis Ford Coppola Presents.
